My Background

I am here to provide you with excellence in editing for your books and all your other content needs.
I’m a published author, seasoned journalist, book coach, book content developer, and editor with more than 25 years experience in writing, editing, publishing, and media. Let me share just some of the many exciting book projects I have worked on, so that you’ll get a sense of my background and experience:

Throughout my career, I have successfully guided numerous authors, speakers, coaches, entrepreneurs, journalists, and thought leaders on the process of developing and editing strong and wise books that send their message out into the world.
I also currently teach an innovative creative writing program called The Writer’s Eye-View, which is consistently sold out (and with a waiting list) every time I offer the course. I am involved in community-based-learning, and am also a writer and research assistant with the Franz Boas Project (Boas was the founder of anthropology) at Western University.
In addition, I am the author of hundreds of newspaper articles and feature magazine articles, covering a vast array of topics—including health care, environment, science, nature, the arts, popular culture, psychology, spirituality, and business.
I am currently, alongside my editorial consulting business, working on my PhD in English Literature and Culture.
I’ve also been involved with the world of TV production As a scriptwriter, producer and content coach for TV documentaries and educational video, some of my projects include writing and co-producing a six-part documentary series, Dads Under Construction (about the process of men becoming first-time fathers); the full-length documentary, Circle of All Nations (about world-renowned native elder William Commanda, dubbed the “Dalai Lama of First Nations”); the feature documentary Autism – There’s Hope Out There (featuring ground-breaking medical research aimed at uncovering the cause of autism); the feature documentary Tomorrow Today, starring Sir Peter Ustinov, the Dalai Lama, Jane Goodall, Ervin Laszlo, and Arthur C. Clarke, with music by Peter Gabriel; a television series based on David Patchell-Evans’ book Living the Good Life; the documentary Sea Without Tides (the story of the legendary fishermen of Lake Erie and the mystique of the Lake). During 2011 I was the story researcher on a new documentary about the science of autism.
